The
Scene:
The park features more than 20 soaking attractions, which
cater both to thrill-seekers and lazy loungers. The
centerpiece is the Summit Plummit, a 350-foot flume slide
(disguised as a ski jump) in which riders exceed speeds of
60 mph. Other highlights include: Teamboat Springs, a
1,200-foot family water rapids ride (the longest such ride
in the world); the Slush Gusher, another flume that features
a double-hump track; the Runoff Rapids, a group of three
twisty tube slides, including one set in total darkness; the
Downhill Double Dipper, a dual-track slide race; Toboggan
Racers, a downhill straightaway in which eight riders
compete simultaneously; and Snow Stormers, a set of three
curvy slides set to mimic ski slalom courses.

slides, guests can also swim in Melt Away Bay, an
occasionally tumultuous one-acre wave pool, or cruise along
Cross-County Creek, an enjoyable lazy river that runs around
