The
Atmosphere:
Taking up residence in a building dating back to 1918
(ancient history for Orlando), The Blue Room is another
entry in the sophisticated clubs category. Billowing silver
columns stand inside this medium-sized, multi-room facility
and the copper ceilings add a warm glow to the club's
stylish atmosphere. There is a main bar with all of the
usual libations, plenty of furniture to lounge on and space
to dance.
The Draw:
The interior decor
prominently features paintings of local artists which are
spotlighted each month. In addition, fashion shows, art
exhibitions and DJ events are part of the routine
happenings. The Blue Room also boasts nightly, top-notch DJ
talent, including Magic Mike, Sandy and Jimmy Joslin on
Tuesday and Knightlife and DJ Gerry on Friday. Interactive
dancers, a killer sound system and a bevy of lasers enhance
the pulsing grooves.
