The Appeal: Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure is an enormous, thickly decorated smorgasbord of thrill rides and fantasies come alive. The entrance, appropriately named the Port of Entry, gives a strong indication of what to expect from the park: incredibly detailed buildings, towers, festive flags, vibrant colors and streets filled with vendors and performers.    The Features:  There are five islands in all: Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, the Lost Continent and Seuss Landing. With shows like "The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman" and rides like the Caro-seuss-el, the park keeps the entire family busy. Lines are long, slow-moving, exhausting and frustrating, so get to the park early and hit the popular rides or leave them for later in the afternoon or evening.
